HIV – How to increase adherence to treatment?

hiv_posterCOMINSUD collaborates with the Elisabeth Taylor Aids Foundation to provide direct care and services to people living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA).  In the run of the project we developed a flyer and a poster to explain what adherence means, how it is done and why it is so important.

There is still a lot of stigma in the society. People don’t collect drugs from their nearest health center because they are afraid that neighbors might see them and start excluding them from the community. Some people do collect the medication but do not take it regularly, which is the major problem according the the health centers. With this poster we want to strengthen the position of PLWHA and also reduce the stigmatization of infected persons.

Feel free to download and share the flyer (pdf, 456 kB) and poster (Size A2, pdf, 1.1 MB) and distribute in your community or health center.
